Dalmeny Martial Arts trains in Shotokan Karate, Jui Jitsu, Self Defense, Physical Fitness. Tiny Tigers (5 and 6 year olds) plus kickboxing.
 
We train Monday, Wednesday and Thursday at 6:30. We offer karate instruction, as well as kickboxing and fitness classes. And special seminars for self defence. Check out our Facebook page for notices and details.

Prairie Opera Ballet School offers ballet training in a nurturing and non-competitive setting. Our goal is to help develop happy, healthy dancers, with an excellent grounding in ballet technique, the confidence to develop personal artistry and a sense of grace and respect for themselves and the people around them.


We offer classes for young dancers aged 2.5 years old - 12 years old from September - May, and often a summer series as well.
Classes are held Monday afternoons from 3:30pm - 4:00pm (2.5-5 years) and 4:00pm - 4:45pm (6-12 years) at the JJ Loewen Centre.
 
We welcome students throughout the year, provided there is space in your chosen class.

4-H is a club-based youth organization for youth ages 6-21.  We focus on hands-on, experiential learning opportunities. Youth choose one or more projects to complete throughout their 4-H year, all the while learning new skills and having fun! The 4-H program year runs from September 1st-August 31st, registration will be September 8th, 2025 at 6:30pm at the Dalmeny Curling Rink.

Kincade Archery offers archery lessons for kids and adults out of the JJ Loewen Centre on Tuesday evenings. Classes are 1-hour in length for 5 weeks. Classes run from September to June with 5 week sessions running back to back. 

 

Cost is $105.00 plus GST per session. All equipment is provided or students are welcome to use their own. Ages: 8 years old and up.

Dalmeny Minor Hockey has a team for all ages, a chance for kids to get out on the ice, and learn how to play hockey. 

Registration for the season opens in June of each year with the season running from October to March each year.

Dalmeny Skating Club offers skating lessons and programs for a variety of different skating levels. CanSkate is the learn to skate program designed to teach basic skills for ALL ice sports. There is also the Rising Star and Star Skate program for more advanced skaters. The season typically runs from October to March.

Dalmeny Seniors have started another year and we welcome anyone 50 plus to join our activities. Memberships are $35.00 per year, with a current membership of 105.

Saskatchewan Valley Music Festival was established over 70 years ago partly because these pioneers recognized its value in developing and honing their talents. The festival encompassed the towns and surrounding areas of Carlton, Duck Lake, Rosthern, Hague, Laird, Waldheim, Hepburn, Osler, Warman and Dalmeny.
