Existing Businesses
Dalmeny is committed to working with our existing business community by creating the municipal framework that makes it easier to do business. Dalmeny’s community spirit is thriving among our local business owners through their local community support, local job creation and wealth creation. In return, the Town of Dalmeny strives to promote its existing business base and provide incentives for existing businesses to continue grow and expand in our community.
Promotion of the Existing Business Base
We understand the importance of our existing business base. The Town of Dalmeny strongly supports and promotes our existing businesses through internal communication mechanisms such as the town website, newsletter, at tradeshows, events and networking events.
Dalmeny also works closely with other municipalities and regional stakeholders such as the Saskatoon Regional Economic Development Authority (SREDA) to promote the Saskatoon Region at provincial, national and international levels. Dalmeny’s participation in regional initiatives helps to build a strong regional economy for the benefit of the entire region.
Our Commitment to Support Existing Business
Economic development research shows that 60-80% of future job growth happens as a result of existing business/industry expansion. The Town of Dalmeny understands the importance of the business community and its contributions to the local economy and has created Economic Development Incentives to help existing businesses who are continuing to invest in their community.
We want your existing business to be successful; please contact the town office should you have any questions, concerns or need help with municipal matters. In addition to contacting the town office with your business inquiries, you may also find the resources you need in Dalmeny’s Business Development Guide along with information on purchasing a Town of Dalmeny Business Licence and Dalmeny’s Business Bylaw.
